After mine and Naomi's meeting with Tiffany on Friday afternoon we hit a few problems regarding the sharing of the work. Due to regulations we have to submit our own volume of work even if we work together. Therefore a few issues were raised considering this.
We need to have a clear and separate indication on who did what and the defining roles. After a weekend of much thought, I had a lunch meeting with Naomi today to discuss how this can be addressed and overcome. This is our plan:
We will still look at branding ourselves as a company with hopefully a website and a promotional video which will be done together.
We both want a photo-shoot from this project therefore we have decided that we will each do a separate shoot each where one of us will be the director with all of the ideas and the other will simply help out as stylist assistant.
We will then each have an individual photo-shoot with our own research and collaborations but it will go under the name of our brand together.
For this project we also need to consider a live element. One idea is to look towards submitting the photo-shoot to a magazine. Another idea is to design a shop front window display which we could both do together bringing forward both of our research ideas.
