I came across this commercial ad for GHD hair straighteners and I love it! I like how they have managed to mix period drama with a contemporary look through the styling and hair and make-up.
I love the slightly quirky and bizarre elements such as the men with antlers on their backs for coat hangers in the first scene.
I think it works well as it is shown through film which is easier to take in as certain scenes are shown to us through steps rather than all at once.
I've always loved history and I think this has the right mixture of old and new to keep it contemporary.
