SWOT Analysis

I decided to re-do my SWOT analysis after finding my previous one from March 2009. Looking back at my previous analysis I realised that I had overcome most of my subjects and I needed new goals.

SWOT Analysis from March 2009:

Strengths:
- Organisation of Photo-shoot
- Research
- Planned Outfits
- Sourcing Clothing from other people
- Keeping to a budget

Weaknesses:
- Inexperience (have now gained experience due to many shoots over the summer)
- Variety of photographs (now have variety due to the above)
- Too many photographs (this meant the editing down process, now because I work with professional photographers they usually edit these down)
- Hard to grasp what I want to create (much better at conveying my ideas now)

Opportunities:
- To explore different options
- Able to put forward ideas
- Opportunities to work as a team and independently
- Choosing how you want to do the photo-shoot/direction

Threats:
- Weather
- Clothing not fitting
- Location, will it be busy?
- Taking equipment and setting up on location

New SWOT Analysis:

- Contacts
- Variety of clothing

Weaknesses:
- Clearer view of end product
- Companies I can source from
- Website
- Mentor
- Men's shoot

Opportunities:
- Ability to put forward my own ideas

- Direction
- New contacts
- Possibilities

Threats:
- Weather
- Clothing not fitting (back-up outfit)
- Location
- Equipment
- Manhandling Loads
- Lack of communication
