Experimenting with Photoshop

After experimenting with the magazine eyes from the response to Pan's Labyrinth I decided to use photoshop to experiment with my own images. All of these images are taken from previous work of mine.
I edited the eyes by using the Liquify tool under filters. I made sure the brush size was circular and slightly larger then the actual eye. I then used the expand button to increase the size of them.
I really like the image below as it looks almost doll like. It looks slightly strange but I think works well in making the images seem slightly strange.
I also used the same tool on her lips which makes her look like she has fish lips, I think just the simple manipulation can really change the whole feel of the image and impression.
These next photos that I edited, I think are the scariest. She looks very similar to something out of a horror film like The Ring. I think this is defiantly heading towards a darker feel from a very light beautiful image to an erie one.
This 3rd manipulation, I enlarged the brush size slightly more than before so that the whole eye socket was covered. I think this works better as the whole eye seems bigger rather then just the pupil.
This look really reminds me of Lady GaGa in the video bad romance where her eyes have been digitally manipulated to emulate her eyes.
I found this video on how to re-create Lady GaGa's eyes. i think it looks really effective in gaining that larger doe like look. I think it may be interesting to apply something similar to my own work when choosing the make-up for my shoot.
